Invest in Yourself and Your Future

Taking the first step towards therapy is a powerful decision. It’s an investment in yourself, your happiness, and your potential. And it’s important to ask questions as you take your first steps.

We provide counseling for a wide range of issues, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Chronic Pain
  • Grief, Loss, and Trauma
  • ADHD
  • PTSD

The duration of therapy varies depending on individual needs and goals. Some clients find short-term therapy (8-12 sessions) sufficient, while others benefit from longer-term support. We’ll discuss your specific situation and create a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

Your first session will typically involve:

  • Discussing your reasons for seeking therapy
  • Reviewing your personal history and current situation
  • Setting initial goals for therapy
  • Explaining our confidentiality policy and office procedures
  • Answering any questions you may have about the therapy process

Yes, we maintain strict confidentiality. There are, however, legal limits to confidentiality, such as:

  • If there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others
  • In cases of suspected child or elder abuse
  • If required by court order We’ll discuss these limits in detail during your first session.

We accept several major insurance plans. Please contact our office with your insurance details, and we’ll verify your coverage.

Most clients start with weekly sessions. As you progress, we may adjust the frequency to biweekly or monthly. The schedule is flexible and can be adapted to your needs and progress.

We use evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client’s needs. These may include:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
  • Emotionally Focused Therapy
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy We’ll discuss which approach might work best for you during our initial consultation.

Signs that therapy is effective include:

  • Improved mood and ability to manage emotions
  • Better relationships and communication skills
  • Increased self-awareness and personal insights
  • Progress towards your personal goals We regularly review your progress and adjust our approach as needed to ensure you’re getting the most out of therapy.
